Paul Pogba confirms he wants to leave Manchester United
Paul Pogba has dropped a massive hint about leaving Manchester United this summer. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and his comments today will come as a boost for Los Blancos.
Talking to reporters in Japan, the midfielder said: “For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.”
“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
“I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else,” added Pogba.
Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane is reportedly keen on taking the midfielder to Bernabeu this summer. The manager was also keen on signing him during his first stint at Madrid but Pogba opted to re-join Manchester United from Juventus.
Reports suggest that United are looking for at least £150 million for Pogba – around £61 million more than what they paid to sign him.
Juventus are also keen on signing him but the Serie A side are looking to agree a swap deal involving Joao Cancelo and cash.
