Mario Manzukic extends Juventus contract
Juventus have confirmed that Mario Mandzukic has signed a new contract at the club. The striker’s deal was set to expire in 2020 and the Serie A champions were keen on keeping him at the club for longer than that.
The Croatian has signed a 2-year deal and will now be at the Italian club until the summer of 2021.
Mandzukic joined Juventus for €19 million (plus €2M add-ons) from Atletico Madrid in 2015. He has scored 43 goals in 159 appearances in all competitions so far and has been an integral part of the starting XI.
This season, the Croat has scored nine times in 30 appearances all competitions – helping Juventus move towards an eighth successive Scudetto.
