Chelsea star started negotiations with AC Milan in March – Reports

Christian Pulisic has been plotting his exit from Chelsea for some time and has reportedly been in talks with AC Milan since March.

The Italian side have made a bid for the United States star, but Chelsea rejected it. The offer from Milan was reported to be around €12 million, while the Blues valued him at €25 million.

As per Daniele Longo, Pulisic has been negotiating with Milan since March and has already agreed terms over a move to San Siro.

However, they have not managed to agree a fee with the Blues and are hoping that the price is dropped later in the window. The Italian side have no plans to match the asking price as they believe Christian Pulisic is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.

Lyon have registered interest in the American and have logged a €25 million bid for him. The Athletic have added that the Ligue1 side are ready to offer Chelsea a good sell-on clause for the 24-year-old, and the Premier League side find the offer acceptable.

AC Milan will now have to at least match the Lyon bid for the former Borussia Dortmund star to get the Blues interested again.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has already joined AC Milan this summer from Chelsea after the two clubs agreed a £15 million fee for him. The San Siro side are also interested in Callub Hudson-Odoi, as per the Guardian.
