Sources: Solskjær will not play Bruno Fernandes against Liverpool even if he is signed on time

Man Utd news: Ole Gunnar Solskjær has made it clear that he will not play Bruno Fernandes against Liverpool even if he is signed in time. Manchester United board were desperate to get the deal done this week so that the midfielder will be available for the Liverpool game.

Solskjaer is not willing to change his plans and wants to see how quickly Fernandes can adapt to the system before getting him in. The manager also wants the new signing to train with the squad for a couple of days before making his debut.

Manchester United have been in talks with Sporting Lisbon for over a week now and have finally agreed a deal. ESPN are reports that the midfielder has also agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.

United have until Friday morning to get the deal done for the midfielder to have any part in the Liverpool game. The Red Devils are 5th in the table – 5 points behind 4th placed Chelsea.

Meanwhile, their next opponents and arch-rivals, Liverpool are flying high in the table. They are 27 points clear of United and have dropped just 2 points this season. Those two points were dropped at Old Trafford and Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be looking to build on that.
