Eden Hazard takes a dig at former Chelsea managers, Conte and Sarri

Chelsea news: Eden Hazard has taken a dig at Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri by saying that his experience under them was ‘less enjoyable’. The Real Madrid star spend three seasons under the two Italian managers at Chelsea before leaving for Spain.

Talking to Sport/Foot Magazine, Hazard claimed that he did not enjoy his time with Italian managers as the training was framed and repetitive. Meanwhile, under Zinedine Zidane at Madrid, the training is reportedly more with the ball, than off it.

“Our training (at Real Madrid) is always with the ball, working on movement and patterns. When you meet Italian coaches, like me (Conte, Sarri), you have much less pleasure. It is more framed and repetitive. You find pleasure in victory. I spent three years with Italian managers so rediscovering this pleasure does me good.”

Despite claiming that he did not enjoy his time, Hazard was the main focus of both managers on the pitch. They won a few trophies as well โ€“ Premier League and FA Cup with Conte and the Europa League with Sarri.

Hazard has not been at his best since his move to Real Madrid and has not been able to lose his vacation weight as well. He is currently out injured and last played in November.

The Belgian has played 8 times in LaLiga this season but has scored just once. Even with the assists, Hazard has just one to his name this season โ€“ he has scored and assisted more with the national team this season.
