Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to rejoin former club
AC Milan rumours: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed to rejoin AC Milan as per Di Marzio. The Sky Italia journalist reports that the Swedish striker has said ‘yes’ to a return to San Siro.
Milan are now working on completing the deal as soon as possible as per the report. They are reportedly keen on finishing the contract tonight or tomorrow morning.
Ibrahimovic is set to sign a 6-month deal with a renewal in the summer based on some conditions that have already been discussed. Di Marzio reports that the announcement is imminent.
The Swedish striker is a free agent right now after leaving LA Galaxy. The former PSG striker was linked with several clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton and a lot of Serie A sides.
Bologna confirmed that they were interested but he had decided to move elsewhere. Napoli too were interested in signing him but with Carlo Ancelotti sacked, they seem to have cooled their interest, putting Milan in the front seat.
