F1 team principals will not be allowed to talk to the race director during the race, from the 2022 season.
Ross Brawn, Formula 1‘s managing director, has confirmed that team principals will not be able to speak with the race director from the 2022 season. The decision comes after the controversial incident at Abu Dhabi, which eventually saw Max Verstappen win the race in the final lap.
While speaking with Auto Motor und Sport, Brawn revealed he was not willing to let the team principals put more pressure on the race director anymore. He said:
