West Ham 0-5 Manchester City: Player Ratings

New season, Same old Manchester City. The Premier League champions are off to a flying start this season and hammered West Ham United for 5 on Saturday at the London Stadium.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a neat finish at the near post but that was about it in the first half for both teams. In the second half, however, things changed drastically.

Raheem Sterling scored in the 51st minute before scoring in the 75th and 92nd minute as well to complete his hat-trick. The Englishman should have got an assist as well but he was deemed offside for the finest of margins by VAR.

Sergio Aguero came off the bench to take the penalty in the 84th minute which he initially missed. VAR ruled that Fabrianski was not on the line when the Argentine shot and the retake saw the ball getting slotted well.
