Tottenham in talks with Juventus over £80m swoop for superstar
Tottenham have reportedly opened talks with Juventus over the transfer of Paulo Dybala. It comes as no surprise, as there were reports that the Argentine has said yes to leaving Juve this summer.
Spurs officials have been in contact with Juventus for a possible transfer for the Argentinian forward. As they look to bring ‘La Joya’ to North London for Mauricio Pochettino.
After not signing a single player for two transfer windows Spurs are ready to spend big in the transfer market. They have already broken their club transfer fee record for Tanguy Ndombele and it seems like they are ready to do it again in the same transfer window.
Last season Champions League finalists are showing ambition and intent in the transfer window. It seems like Dani Levy is prepared to financially back manager Mauricio Pochettino to challenge Man City and Liverpool.
While by signing Dybala it would show that this Tottenham team is here to challenge top teams for big trophies.
The Premier League club wants to bring in Dybala so that he can form a deadly duo with star man Harry Kane at the club. The former Palermo forward is seen as the ideal candidate for this partnership.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has previously described Dybala as ‘special talent’ and ‘one of the best in the world’. So, surely he would love to have in his team.
But, if the Lilly Whites are serious about this move then they are likely to face competition from Manchester United and PSG.
