Tottenham eye World Class manager as Pochettino replacement

Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that he could leave Tottenham this summer and the London side are not taking it lightly. Reports suggest that the Argentine is a target for Juventus and thus, Spurs have started hunting for replacements.

Sunday Express reports that Tottenham are considering a move for Massimiliano Allegri. Juventus sacked their manager last week and on Sunday, he will be managing his final match at the Turin club.

Allegri has already confirmed that he is looking to join a club straight away and not planning on taking a sabbatical like Guardiola. He said, “I am not particularly looking for a year off. I’ll only take a sabbatical if I have to, but otherwise, the idea is to find a project that convinces me. Life is full of surprises and you have to be ready for anything.”

Express also report that Daniel Levy will assure Allegri that he will have spending power at the club to try and lure him. Manchester United, despite offering a lucrative deal to Ole Gunnar Solskjær are said to be keeping an eye on the Juventus manager.

PSG are also said to be in a similar situation while Barcelona fans are urging their club to get the Italian to Camp Nou. Meanwhile, Evening Standard reports that Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Allegri as senior players are not happy with Maurizio Sarri.

Another club interested in appointing Allegri are reportedly Bayern Munich. Niko Kovač has won them the league title once again but the players, fans and the board are reportedly not happy with him.

Rumour Ratings: 6/10

While Allegri is a great choice for Tottenham, moving to Spurs might not be on the manager’s list. Spurs are slowly becoming a big team in the Champions League, they are still a few seasons away from it.
