Seattle Sounders vs PSG – Player Ratings and Match Reports

Seattle Sounders vs PSG went as expected, as the UEFA Champions League winners dominated the game. The win secured their place in the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.

PSG were all over Seattle Sounders from the very start and did not give the MLS side any space. Luis Enrique’s side did not need to score a lot of goals, as the win was enough to seal the top spot for them.

Vitinha scored the lone goal of the first half, and that was enough to break the slight confidence seen in the MLS players. Nothing changed after they came back from the break, and the Ligue 1 side continued their domination.

Vargas had the golden chance to equalize, but he tried to cut inside and his tough inside the box was too heavy. PSG managed to clear the ball easily and score on the counter.

Bradley Barcola from Achraf Hakimi unmarked on the other side of the box, and the defender made no mistake to slot the ball past the Sounders keeper. Jordan Morris came the closest to scoring for the MLS side in the FIFA Club World Cup clash, but he could not find the back of the net.
