Schalke 04 fans humiliated at airport after 7-0 loss to Manchester City

Schalke 04 were humiliated by Manchester City at the Etihad on Tuesday night but what followed made things worse for the club’s fans. The German club were thrashed 7-0.

According to reports in Germany, the Schalke fans were asked to board a flight that was sponsored by Borussia Dortmund. The plane was painted black & yellow and had the BVB logo on the rudder.

Ruhr24 report that some of the fans were reluctant to board the plane. The report that Schalke fans were outraged over the BVB plane, utterings things like “I’m staying” or “It can’t get any worse” at the airport.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time such an incident has taken place. In January, Schalke were unhappy with Euro Wings and sent out a tweet as well when their eSports team was asked to use the same place.
