Real Madrid eye stunning move for Chelsea star

Real Madrid are planning a stunning swoop for under-fire Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Spaniard joined the Blues for a club-record €80 million from Athletic Bilbao back in 2018.

However, after a promising start to life at Stamford Bridge, a series of high-profile errors have placed Arrizabalaga in the firing line.

The 25-year-old was even dropped in favour of veteran Willy Caballero by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard earlier this season.

As a result, his future at the club remains uncertain, with Madrid weighing up a potential bid for the youngster.

Arrizabalaga’s exit would also pave the way for Lampard to make a move for Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has gained a reputation as one of Europe’s finest goalkeepers the past few seasons.

Ter Stegen has won four La Liga titles and one Champions League crown since his move to Barcelona and has even usurped Manuel Neuer as Germany’s No.1.

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, on-loan at Sheffield United, is also reportedly on Lampard’s radar.
