Real Madrid star injured ahead of Manchester City clash
Real Madrid news: Eden Hazard limped off injured during Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Levante. The Belgian had just come back from an injury but was taken off in the 67th minute.
Early reports suggest that he could be nursing a calf injury as he was seen getting the ice pack treatment. However, it was soon moved to the ankle and now reports suggest it could be another ankle injury for the former Chelsea man.
Hazard was not a happy man on the sidelines while receiving treatment and that could be an indication that this could be another ankle injury.
“Hazard got hit on his bad ankle. He has been hit in the ankle from the injury. We’ll have to do tests but it looks bad.”
Zidane on Hazard’s injury
The Belgian was back last weekend after being out since November 26th. He played 73 minutes against Celta Vigo last week and reports suggested he was back in perfect condition.
However, it looks like he had not recovered completely from the injury and he might be out for some time again.
Real Madrid face Manchester City in the Champions League on Sunday and have important fixtures coming up in La Liga as well.
