Gareth Bale reveals the difference between playing for Wales and Real Madrid
โReal Madrid news: Gareth Bale’s time at Real Madrid has been a topsy-turvy one and the Welshman has been linked with an exit every season. However, he has stayed put at the club and even after Zinedine Zidane revealed he had no plans for him, he made his way back into the starting XI.
Bale was at a press conference ahead of Wales’ match against Azerbaijan when he revealed the difference between playing for his country and his club. He claims that there is more excitement in playing for his country as he knows the players well and he communicates in his won language.
He said: โWith Wales, I’m speaking my own language and feeling more comfortable. I definitely have a bit more excitement playing for Wales. I’ve been with most of the players, especially the older ones since we were in the Under-17s. It’s like playing with your mates down the park on a Sunday.โ

However, he made it clear that he always gives his best every time he gets on the pitch. โBut it still doesn’t change what I give on the pitch. I always give 100% wherever I am, and that’s what I always strive to do,โ he added.
Wales need to beat Azerbaijan and Hungary in their next two matches to have any chance of automatically qualifying for the EURO 2020.
