PSG to sell 6 first team players this summer

PSG are set for a squad overhaul this summer after yet another poor performance in the Champions League. The highly reliable ParisUnited have some inside information and claim that 3-4 players will be signed this summer.

However, in order to sign the players they need, PSG will have to sell as well. As many as 6 first-team players are set to be sold this summer according to ParisUnited.

Edinson Cavani will be the first big name to leave with his contract expiring in 2020. The Uruguayan striker is not going to be offered a new deal and PSG will sell him for any good offer this summer.

Thomas Meunier will be the next one out of the door as per the report. The Belgian has been linked with Manchester United and report suggests he will head to the Premier League.

Layvin Kurzawa might also be leaving as Antero Henriques (PSG’s Sporting Director) is not a big fan of his. Thomas Tuchel is interested in keeping him but he will remain at the club only if no good deal is on the table for him.

Christopher Nkunku has been linked with a move to Arsenal and he is set to be reunited with Unai Emery. The Frenchman was a target for the Gunners in January but a move did not take place. However, now PSG are keen on selling him and Emirates is likely to be his destination.

Alphonse Areola’s time at PSG is also up as Gigi Buffon is set to become the club’s 2nd choice goalkeeper. The Ligue 1 champions are keen on signing David De Gea and should they get him, Areola will be sold straight away.

Lastly, ParisUnited report that Presnel Kimpembe will also be leaving the club soon. The defender has been unsettled by the Rabiot situation and does not see his future at the French club. Jorge Mendes is already trying to lure him with a promise of getting him to a top European club in the summer.

Adding to all this, Adrien Rabiot is also set to leave the club while Mbappe and Neymar are constantly being linked with a move to Real Madrid.
