Palmeiras vs Chelsea – Player Ratings and Match Highlights

Palmeiras vs Chelsea was end-to-end from the first whistle, with the Premier League side coming out on top in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinal.

Chelsea have sealed their place in the FIFA Club World Cup semifinal with a 2-1 win over Palmeiras. They will be facing Fluminense, who have former Blues star Thiago Silva leading their defense.

Cole Palmer gave Chelsea the lead in the first half with a superb goal from just inside the box. The Englishman drifted in and launched a low shot past Weverton, who could not get close to the ball despite his best efforts.

Estevao Willian was playing his final match for Palmeiras before heading to Chelsea, and he showed why the Blues have signed him. The young Brazilian scored a stunning goal in the second half to level things up.

The game looked set for extra time, but a shot from Malo Gusto took a slight deflection and went in to make it 2-1 to Chelsea with 8 minutes to go. Noni Madueke and Joao Pedro, who made his debut, came close to scoring in the final minutes but were denied by the Palmeiras goalkeeper.
