MLS Chief reveals Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s next club

Last week, Zlatan Ibrahimovic hinted at his return to Spain via his Instagram post. The news took the football world by storm as speculations about his next signing started flooding the media but it turned out to be ust about his betting company.

Now, a recent interview with MLS Commissioner Don Garber on ESPN’s YouTube channel has indicated the Swedish player’s move to AC Milan. During his conversation, Gaber revealed that the 38-year-old striker is headed to the Italian club.

Talking about the LA Galaxy player, Garber said, “Zlatan is such an interesting guy. He keeps my hand full but you need this kind of players, like Beckham in his early days. He is 38-years-old and is now being recruited by AC Milan, one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

Ibrahimovic’s contract with the MLS side will expire in December 2019. As per the reports, the player won’t be renewing his contract. In the video that he posted on his social media account, the former Barcelona player said he is ‘coming back’ but didn’t reveal any further details.

Many believed that Zlatan is keen on returning to La Liga. However, the recent comments from Garber suggest that the Swede is headed towards Serie A. Both Zlatan and AC Milan are yet to confirm this news and hopefully, they will announce the signing before the year ends.
