Manchester United agree deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have agreed a £50 million deal with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka according to David Ornstein. The BBC journalist reports that the 21-year-old will be travelling for his medical soon and will put pen to a long term deal.

The Red Devils have been chasing the young Englishman for the past few weeks and had a £40 million rejected. Palace were looking for £50 million and reports suggested that they rejected the 2nd bid of £35 million plus ££15 million bonuses as well.

ESPN and Independent have also confirmed the report and added that United will pay an initial fee of £45 million with £5 million as add-ons.

There were reports that United were ready to let go of the 25% sell-on clause they have on Zaha’s deal when he returned to Palace in 2015. However, Ornstein reports that the clause remains intact and nothing has changed in that front.

Wan-Bissaka will see his wages go up from £10,000 a week to around £80,000 a week as per the report. Palace are now expected to make a move for Norwich City’s 19-year-old full-back, Max Aarons.
