Jurgen Klopp rules out move for former Manchester United star

Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Liverpool have no interest in signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former Manchester United star is without a club right now after leaving LA Galaxy this week.

Talking to Sportbladet, Klopp said โ€œIf he had not played for Manchester United before, then we might have considered him. No, but I’m not even sure he wanted to play here. We’re a pretty intense teamโ€ฆWith that said, I couldn’t have had more respect for Zlatan.โ€

โ€œI love his whole career, love his efforts, love his confidence. While it may not always be right, it is entertaining anyway. He’s a fantastic character and I really hope he doesn’t stop playing football. The world will miss him too much.โ€ added the Liverpool manager.

Zlatan was a part of Manchester United’s squad for 2 seasons under Jose Mourinho. The Swede was signed on a free transfer after he left Paris Saint-Germain.

An ACL injury cut short his playing time at Old Trafford and he moved to MLS with LA Galaxy. The chief of MLS has hinted that Zlatan is on his way to AC Milan but our sources report that Napoli are the front runners.
