Liverpool are pondering a move for Lloyd Kelly as per reports in Club Call. The Bristol City left-back is reportedly seen as a long-term replacement for Alberto Moreno at Anfield.

The 20-year-old has just made it to the first-team at the Champions side. However, his performances have been good enough for Liverpool to show interest in him. The defender was also made the captain on the England U20 side earlier this season.

Kelly’s current deal at Bristol City expires only in 2021 with the club having the option of extending by another year. Klopp is keen on getting a left-back soon and reports suggest that The Reds will be making a move in January itself.

Moreno is on the verge of leaving Anfield at the end of the season. His contract at the club expires and he has reportedly been informed that a new deal will not be offered.

Sevilla and Arsenal have been linked with a free transfer for the Spaniard. The LaLiga side currently lead the race for him but Unai Emery, his former coach, is keen on working with him again, this time at Arsenal.

Rumour Ratings: 4/10

Club Call aren’t a publication that have got a lot of transfers right. It’s difficult to see this transfer happen in January as he is doing well at Bristol City and they will do all they can to keep him for the season.

A transfer next summer would be good for the club and the player as more clubs will start keeping an eye on him. That will help him pick the best club to play at and also help the Championship side get more money for him.
