Liverpool contact PSG star’s agent

Liverpool have made contact with Adrien Rabiot’s agent as per ESPN. The PSG star’s contract at the club expires at the end of the season and the Reds are looking to snap him up on a free transfer.

Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the Frenchman. ESPN claim that the manager tried to sign him during his days at Borussia Dortmund as well.

Rabiot will be able to sign a pre-contract with any club in January. However, ESPN also report that Barcelona still remain keen on signing him and will also be looking to get his signature.

Liverpool is a club that Rabiot admires as well and a move might well and truly happen. Speaking to RMC Sport last year, the Frenchman said, “I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young,”

Several other media outlets have also reported that Klopp was trying to sign him at Dortmund and given that James Milner is 32-years-old, the Reds might be looking to sign a long-term replacement for him.
