Liverpool set to sign former West Ham keeper, Adrian

Liverpool are set to sign 32-year-old, free agent Adrian according to various reports. The goalkeeper is without a club after he was released by West Ham United in the summer.

The Reds are keen on signing a goalkeeper after Simon Mignolet decided to leave the club this summer. The Belgian keeper has joined Club Brugge on a 5-year deal and is already training with them.

Adrian was at West Ham for a 6-years but was a backup to ลukasz Fabiaล„ski last season. The Spaniard will be a backup at Liverpool too as Alisson Becker is in the form of his life.

The transfer window closes on Thursday and Liverpool play their first game on Friday against Norwich City. The Reds do not have another backup keeper as Caoimhin Kelleher is out following wrist surgery.

The only other first-team keeper Liverpool have is Lloris Karius who is out on loan at Besiktas. Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to get this deal done soon so that Adrian will be on the bench for the first game of the season.
