€111M rated striker’s agent confirms talks with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City

Lautaro Martinez’s agent has confirmed that Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City are interested in signing the striker. Talking to Spanish outlet, Clarin (via Tribuna), Beto Yaque revealed that the 4 clubs have contacted him.

“We don’t know what will happen, we pay attention to what the media say about it. It’s true that Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and [Manchester] City called me, but we don’t know if they have any kind of agreement with Inter.”

Reports suggest that Martinez has a €111M release clause in his contract and Inter Milan are trying their best to get rid of it. The Serie A side have offered him a new deal with €4M a year but the 22-year-old has not put pen to it.

Tribuna add that Chelsea are ready to meet the release clause and sign him. The Blues are also reportedly ready to offer him €10M a year – 2.5 times more than what Inter have offered.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keen on signing him as Luis Suarez and Karim Benzema need competition. Antoine Griezmann and Luka Jovic have not made an impact at the Spanish clubs and they are very likely to be on their way out as per reports.

Manchester City, on the other hand, are looking to sign the Argentine as a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero. Gabriel Jesus’ future at the club is in the balance and sources told Nitwik Football back in January that he was among the players City were open to selling this summer.
