Premier League champions Manchester City are finally set to conclude a £108 million double swoop for their top transfer targets Riyad Mahrez and Jorginho, as per the latest reports from Sky Sports.

City are set to conclude a deal for their long-term target and Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez for an initial £60million, as per the reports.

The 2016 PFA Player of the Year wants his future, which has been under dark clouds since the Pep Guardiola side first moved for him in January, to be resolved before he reports back to Leicester for pre-season training next week.

The Algerian star could have his medical this week, as per the reports.

The Premier League champions will pay Leicester add-ons but the final fee will be less than the demanded £80million by the 2016-16 League winners.

Manager Pep Guardiola will be highly pleased to add Mahrez into City’s ranks as he feels the need to have another versatile attacking option apart from Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva.

Apart from Mahrez’s coup, City are also set to sign highly-rated midfielder Jorginho from Napoli, who is believed to be closer to signing a contract with the Manchester club after a fee of £48.7million was agreed by both the clubs, as per Sky Sports.

They did not want to go down to Napoli’s asking price and have agreed to a fee after nearly two months of negotiations.

Jorginho will sign a five-year deal at City which will treble his wages, as per reports.

New Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has also reportedly left the midfielder out of his pre-season training squad.
Jorginho is highly rated by Pep Guardiola and the former Barcelona boss wants him to take pressure off from Fernandinho’s shoulders in City’s midfield.
