At 32 years old, not many players play regularly in the Premier League. They are impact subs or squad players at most clubs. However, Milner is still going strong at Liverpool and playing week in and week out.

Today, as he makes his 100th Premier League appearance for the Reds, he has broken two records.

He becomes the first Bosman signing (free transfer) ever to make 100 appearances for Liverpool. He joined from Manchester City in 2015 after his contract at Etihad ran out.

Adding to that, Milner will become the fourth player ever to make 100 apps in the Premier League for three different clubs. He made 100 apps for Aston Villa before heading to Manchester City and playing 147 times for them in 5 seasons.

The elite list of players who have made 100+ apps for three clubs is Gareth Barry, Gary Speed and Rory Delap. None of them played for Liverpool, so Milner might count as the first Liverpool player to do so as well!
