Maurizio Sarri’s Premier League debut as a manager ended on a winning note. Chelsea produced a dominant performance to win 3-0 at Huddersfield Town.

The Blues opened their account in the 34th minute thanks to a goal from the most unlikely source – N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman’s dream run continues as he pounced on a Willian cross and volleyed it in over Hamer.

The two sides looked set to go into the break with the score at 1-0 but a smart move involving Jorginho, Ross Barkley and Marcos Alonso saw the Blues earn a penalty. A quick move saw the Spanish defender through on goal and Christopher Schindler ended up fouling him when he tried to clear the ball.

Jorginho stepped up and slotted it home to make it 2-0 to Chelsea. The FA Cup champions dominated the second half and did not give the hosts any chance of making a comeback. Pedro chipped one over the keeper after Eden Hazard’s brilliant run to make it 3-0 in the 80th minute to seal the win for Chelsea.
