Everton set to sign Juventus star

Everton are set to complete the signing of Moise Kean according to Di Marzio and Goal’s Romeo Agresti. The Juventus striker is set to have his medical at the Merseyside club tomorrow.

The Toffees were keen on signing a striker this window and were linked with a lot of stars. Now, it looks like they have agreed a deal for the Italian who took Serie A by a storm at towards the end of last season.

Di Marzio and Romeo Agresti report that the deal is a permanent one and will cost Everton around €40 million. Juventus were keen on adding a buy-back clause but there is no confirmation of that right now.

Fabrizio Romano adds that the striker will sign a contract until June 2024 and earn €3 million per season.

Keane scored 7 goals in 17 games for Juve last season and also earned his first cap for Italy. He scored twice in 3 games for his national side but was racially abused a lot during the season.

Juventus have now decided to let go of the striker as they already have Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain to play in that position. Moreover, they have been linked with a move for Romelu Lukaku as well.
