Chelsea considering to make a move for Premier League midfielder

Chelsea want to bring a young defensive midfielder and they have identified Declan Rice as the player they want to bring to Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, the Blues are big admirers of the youngster whom they released as a youth academy player.

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Rice are said to be very close friends as both of them were together at the Chelsea academy. Both of them have represented England National Team as well.

It is highly unlikely that West Ham will allow their prized asset leave for cheap. The Englishman is 21 years old and he has four years left on his current contract with the Hammers with the option of extending one year further.

Chelsea have also been linked with Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare whom they faced twice in the Champions League as well.
