Chelsea’s move for Andy Caroll has come to an end according to Daily Mail. The English publication reports that the striker has suffered an ankle injury that will keep him out for up to six weeks.

Telegraph reports suggest that Carroll will require a surgery on his ankle and thus will not be able to undergo a medical at Chelsea. West Ham United were reportedly ready to offload him if they received an offer of £20 million.

The Blues were linked with a move for the West Ham United striker as Conte was reportedly not satisfied with Michy Batshuayi.  The Belgian has failed to take the chances offered to him by the manager and is on the verge of leaving the club.

Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move for the Belgian striker but Conte is not willing to let him leave without a replacement coming in. The German side are said to be interested in signing him on a permanent deal if Aubameyang leaves the club.
