Bayern Munich monitoring Barcelona star

According to Sport, Bayern Munich are keeping tabs of Barcelona’s Marc Andre Ter Stegen. The Bundesliga side are currently in a transition phase as they are yet to decide to whether to make the appointment of Hansi Flick permanent or to bring a new face.

If they bring in someone who should it be then, despite this the Bavarians are still in the lookout for new additions to their squad.

The Bavarians are currently in-contract negotiations with Thomas Muller, David Alaba and Manuel Neuer. They want all of them to stay but they could part away with 33-year-old Manuel Neuer. The German is no longer at his best and he has been injury-prone as well.

On the other hand, Ter Stegen is locked in contract negotiations with Barca. He believes that he should be earning more as players less valuable than him earning more than him. The former Mรถnchengladbach stopper wants to be valued as a player as he is now a key player for them.

Ter Stegen is 27 years old and he would be a great replacement for Manuel Neuer as well. Also, Neuer relationship with Franz Beckenbauer is said to be tense which could further make it difficult for the former Schalke goalkeeper to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.
