“They can win the treble” – Former Arsenal star makes bold prediction about Mikel Arteta’s side

Anders Limpar has backed Arsenal to win the treble this season.

Former Arsenal star Anders Limpar has claimed that the Gunners have a squad that is capable of winning all major trophies this season. He believes that the players could start for any club in England, and it is the best side since The Invincibles.

Speaking to Ace Odds, Limpar said that Arsenal are close to ending their 5-year trophy drought under Mikel Arteta. He is excited about the squad assembled by the Gunners and said:

“If you look at the whole team sheet, they have an amazing team. I mean, come on, they can win the treble next year with a team like this. They definitely have one of the best teams if everything goes well, because the squad is truly unbelievable. It’s mindblowing. All of those players could play for any team in England.”

“This is the best Arsenal team since ‘The Invincibles’. Arsenal were really good in the 90’s but we now have a dream team again. They now need to win trophies but they’re not far from winning due to the players at the club.”

The Gunners have bolstered their squad this summer, spending over €200 million to sign Marti Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

They finished 2nd in the Premier League in the last three seasons, twice behind Manchester City and once behind Liverpool.
