Atletico Madrid offer Thomas Lemar for Arsenal star
Arsenal rumours: Atletico Madrid are looking to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal according to Marca. They report that the Spanish side are ready to offer Thomas Lemar in exchange for the striker.
Lacazette has been doing well for Arsenal this season but has not been at his best. He has scored 5 goals and assisted twice in 15 appearances in the league this season.
Diego Costa, Joao Felix and Alvaro Morata are in the Atletico Madrid squad but Diego Simeone wants to add a striker who can guarantee him more goals. Reports suggest that Diego Costa could be on his way out of the club as well but the striker is currently out injured.
Marca claim that Lacazette is Atletico’s ‘Plan B’ as Edinson Cavani remains their top target. The PSG striker is in the final 6 months of his deal at the French champions and is free to sign a pre-contract this month.
Atletico are looking to sign him this month itself but PSG are not willing to let him leave. He has lost his starting spot to Mauro Icardi at the Ligue 1 champions and thus is looking to leave.
