Andre Onana opens doors for Manchester United exit with surprise comments

Andre Onana has refused to confirm if he will be at Manchester United next season. The goalkeeper has left the doors open for an exit amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Manchester United are in the market for a goalkeeper, and Andre Onana’s future at the club has been in the balance. The Senegal star has now hinted that he could be leaving this summer by refusing to end speculation about his future.

When quizzed by Afrik-Foot about the possibility of leaving Old Trafford, the goalkeeper replied:

โ€œWill I leave? I donโ€™t know, weโ€™ll see!โ€

Onana has been in the limelight since moving to Old Trafford from Inter Milan. The goalkeeper has made several high-profile errors in his seasons at Manchester United, which have been highlighted amid the club’s poor run.

Saudi Pro League side Neom SC are leading the chase for Onana this summer. He was also linked with Bayer Leverkusen following the appointment of Erik ten Hag, but the Bundesliga side have signed Mark Flekken from Brentford instead.

Ruben Amorim reportedly wants to sign a new goalkeeper and The Sportzine were told that Barcelona‘s Marc-Andre ter Stegen is among those of interest. Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez and Parma’s Zion Suzuki are said to be the other options.

The Red Devils were also linked with AC Milan’s Mike Maignan and PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, but both goalkeepers have rejected the approach.
