Alisson Becker provides update on his injury
Alisson Becker suffered an injury on the opening day on the Premier League. The Brazilian shot-stopper came off in the 39th minute of Liverpool‘s 4-1 win over Norwich City following a calf injury.
Jurgen Klopp has reported that the goalkeeper is a few weeks away from making his return. The Reds manager claims that the calf issue is something that will take time to heal.
Now, Alisson has issued an update himself and reported that he is ‘getting better every day’. The Brazilian was responding to a Liverpool fan’s tweet when he revealed his status.
With Alisson out, Adrian stepped in and played well against Norwich City and Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup. However, Klopp has revealed that he too might be out of the Southampton game with a swollen ankle.
The Spaniard got injured following a tackle by a fan (VIDEO) who ran towards the Liverpool players celebrating the UEFA Super Cup win.
