UEFA Super Cup: PSG vs Tottenham – Player Ratings and Highlights

Tottenham were five minutes away from winning the UEFA Super Cup before PSG decided to make a spectacular comeback. The UEFA Champions League winners scored twice in the dying minutes to take the match to a penalty shootout.

Micky van de Ven opened the scoring in the 39th minute, before Cristian Romero made it 2-0 just three minutes after the break. The Premier League side looked set to take home the UEFA Super Cup, but Luis Enrique’s substitutions made an impact.

Lee Kang-in made it 2-1 in the 85th minute with a superb long-range strike, and that gave PSG all the confidence they needed. The Ligue 1 champions managed to level things up in injury time with Goncalo Ramos heading in a cross from Ousmane Dembele.

Vitinha put his penalty wide in the shootout to give Tottenham an early lead, but Chevalier saved Van de Ven’s penalty, and Tel put his effort wide as PSG scored from all their remaining penalties to seal a 4-3 win.
